Trail Project

CLINTON RESIDENTS

Where: Veterans Park (Clinton Elementary) – 1101 W 1800 N, Clinton

Objective: Clean and beautify the walking trail in Clinton. Things that need to be done: bark spreading, planting trees, shrubs and flowers, painting over graffiti, cleaning out all of the deadwood and hauling it out to the dumpsters that the city has provided

What to bring: Chainsaws, shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows and gloves.  Some side-by-sides with trailers or four wheelers.

ROY RESIDENTS

Where: We will have two areas where you can park: Roy Aquatic Center at 2977 W 5200 S, and Roy West Park at 2900 W 4650 S.

Objective: Clean and beautify the walking trail in Roy. Things that need to be done: bark spreading, and trail cleanup. Bags will be provided and Roy City will have workers that will collect the bags as we work.

What to bring: Shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows and gloves.

Playground Project

WEST POINT RESIDENTS

Where: Loy Blake Park Playground – 550 N 3500 W, West Point

Objective: Spread a semi-truck size load of wood chips throughout the playground to provide a soft surface for the kids to play.

What to bring: Shovels, rakes, buckets and wheelbarrows – the wheelbarrows are especially helpful.
