National Day of Service

In observance of the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, we and our partners invite you to help us transform the anniversary of 9/11 into a a day of unity and "good deeds" to help those most in need.

Our objective is to rekindle the extraordinary spirit of togetherness and compassion that arose in the immediate aftermath of the 9/11 tragedy, and to inspire Americans and others to do good deeds that help to create a better and more peaceful world.

SERVICE PROJECT

We’ll be working on the walking trail that goes through Roy and Clinton doing things like spreading bark, planting trees, shrubs and flowers, painting over graffiti, cleaning out deadwood. There is also a project happening at the Loy Blake Park Playground – spreading bark to beautify the playground.
